Prepared retention rules
Cruise Watchdog is active. Automatic cleanup of subscription records is not enabled yet; deletion requests are handled by the operator. Prepared cleanup covers unconfirmed requests 7 days after the latest confirmation request, revoked subscriptions after 30 days and message copies after 30 days. The application journal has configured limits of 30 days and 200 MB. Daily database backups are stored on the same VPS; copies older than 30 days are removed only after a new successful backup. Failed backups preserve earlier copies. Restoration must respect later opt-outs and deletions. Working handover archives are outside automatic rotation.

Operation and search
Serving and securing the website involves connection data such as IP address, request time and browser information. Search filters and optional search text are used to provide results. Search parameters may appear in page URLs, browser history and operational records; do not enter sensitive information. Security and incident resolution are the operator’s legitimate interests.
Language and external content
Your saved language and supported browser language take priority. If neither is available, fallback language detection may send your IP address to IPWho.is and use the returned country code. Cruise images may load directly from external sources, whose operators receive connection data, including IP address and, depending on browser settings, a referrer.
Preferences and optional analytics
Google Analytics 4 is not active yet; its connection is being prepared. When enabled, Google receives browser, device, page and approximate-location information; _ga cookies help recognise visits. Analytics cookies are configured for 90 days. Our page-view measurements omit email and URL parameters. Advertising features are disabled. Change consent in Cookie settings. Recipients and partner links
Bookings and payments take place with the cruise provider. Affiliate links may redirect through Awin; Awin and destination providers apply their own privacy rules. VPS hosting and email delivery use FORPSI, provided by INTERNET CZ, a.s. When Google Analytics 4 is enabled with consent, Google also processes data under the description below and its terms; processing can include countries outside the EEA. Disclosures required by law may also apply.
Cruise Watchdog
Email alerts become active after you confirm your address. We record email, language, chosen filters, confirmation and opt-out times, status, verification tokens and delivery/deduplication records. Confirmation, welcome and cancellation messages are sent by email; a scheduler evaluates new matching offers. Subscription is consent-based and can be cancelled using an email link. Refusing alerts or analytics does not prevent catalogue use.
Retention and rights
Language and privacy choices remain valid for 365 days; expired choices are rejected or removed on the next visit. You may change or delete them sooner. Subject to GDPR conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, object to legitimate-interest processing and withdraw consent for future processing.
